Corrie Bunnell won 1st place, Phillip Zhang 2nd and Euki Sawada 3rd in 16-18 age division, Carolyn Lee won 2nd in 13-15, and Kaija Germain won 3rd in under 13.

Adam Greene won special recognition from ASCAP, the composer's and publisher's rights organization, for the second consecutive year. In March his work for violin, entitled "Shoji" will be premiered in Japan by Urara Mogi. Dr. Greene teaches courses in musicianship, harmony, and ear-training at CIM.

Allen Huang won 3rd place in ASTA Competition. Allen and Amanda Lipski were chosen to compete in ASTA State Finals in October. Both will be playing in ASTA honors recital in April.

Pasha Tseitlin rehearsed Tchaikovsky Concerto with USC Symphony substituting for Nadia Solerno-Sonnenberg.

Introduction To Classical Music is a new CIM outreach program. Recitals will be scheduled every month at Carmel Valley Library and the Jewish Community Center Library in La Jolla.

Hayato Ishibashi won 2nd place in the Los Angeles Philharmonic Bronislav Kaper Awards Competition and will be performing next season Bartok Concerto No.2 with the Los Angeles Philharmonic in Disney Hall.

Wittney Thomas won 2nd place in the Sphinx National Competition.

Allen Huang won 1st place in intermediate solo division of the San Diego MTAC VOCE competition.

Oksana Germain won 3rd place in MTAC Concerto Competition.
